This Company Pays Employees for Every Cat They Adopt or Rescue…

A company in Japan is taking an unusual approach to promote cat adoption. The cat-loving company takes needy cats into their office, and they also pay their employees for rescuing cats.

I just love stories about clever actions that support animal adoptions by organizations and individuals. This is one more story of that kind in the row that we were covering recently. This Japanese firm not only welcomes stray cats with doors wide open but also pays their employees for every feline fellow they rescue from the streets. Ferray Corporation, an IT company in Tokyo has adopted many stray cats who now run the office and oversee the operation.

This organization in the described way achieves a win-win situation. Cats are happy because they are adopted and being cared for and employees are reducing the stress at work and increasing productivity. A really nice and clever gesture with amazing results.

In the firm, they claim that they found the cure for Japanese well-known workaholism. Besides cats are wandering the office freely, every day in this organization is Bring Your Pet to Work Day. They pay workers a “cat bonus” of 5,000 yen ($45USD) to anyone who rescues or adopts a cat in need. Hidenobu Fukuda, boss of Ferray, even says that the most important quality they look for in new hires is a “love of felines.”

The cat is in charge for this task… Japanese firm welcomes stray cats.

Employees are reducing the stress at work and increasing productivity thanks to feline friendships.

So, stray cats now run the office and oversee the operation.

Communication in the firm got better because of these kitties and everyone’s spirit has dramatically lifted up.
